WARSTATION's per-minute pricing model offers franchisees several advantages, including transparency, flexibility, and control. However, the true value of this business model becomes evident during holidays and special package offers. By using per-minute billing, franchise partners can significantly reduce franchise costs and increase net event revenue.
Let's take a look at how this works in practice.
For example, during a typical VR event, guests spend an average of two to three hours at the venue. The first hour is dedicated to the VR game itself. Guests arrive, are briefed, put on headsets, learn the rules, and gather in the lobby for the game and take photos. This time does not add up to minutes because it is not included in the actual game time.
On average, one VR session lasts about 40 minutes; therefore, only this time will be charged. Instructions, equipment preparation, and transitions between rounds are not included in the per-minute rate.
During the second hour, guests are typically in the lounge area, where they can enjoy a meal, play video games, chat, or simply relax. During this time, game minutes do not count as well.
After that, the event can continue in various ways: with a show, a dance party, or a repeated VR session. If guests choose to play VR again, the same rules apply as in the first hour – only the actual playing time is charged, that is, another 40 minutes.
All preparatory processes and pauses between rounds are not taken into account in the pricing, as the minutes are deducted only when the game is actually running. This means that during the three-hour celebration, when guests spend 240 minutes on the arena floor, WARSTATION partners only pay the franchise for 80 minutes of game time. The rest of the revenue remains with the franchisee, becoming their net profit.
During the holidays, the per-minute pricing model of WARSTATION proves to be highly advantageous, as you are not charged for non-gaming time. This allows you to develop event scenarios, incorporate additional activities, extend the event duration, and increase the profit – all without incurring extra costs from the franchise.
