VR technologies are used wider and wider every day. Thus, the first legal trial in virtual reality was hosted in Colombia.
The court hearing lasted 2 hours. After that, the participants noted that a legal trial in virtual reality felt more realistic than a regular video call.
This experiment was held by Colombia's Magdalena Administrative court. Maybe, more trials will be hosted in this format in the future.
