At the moment, you can buy Quest 2 headset at a cheaper price. The price began to drop after the announcement of Quest 3. Probably, Meta company (the organization is recognized extremist and prohibited in Russia) wants to have a sale and sell the remaining goods before the novelty release.
It is worth reminding that Quest 2 VR headset entered the market 3 years ago. Back then, its price was just $300 for a device with 64 Gb memory, later – for a device with 128 Gb memory. The experts noted that the price was too low. There was even a belief that the company didn’t make decent profit on every sold device.
That’s why Quest 2 price increased some time later and reached $400. However, it got $100 lower again in June. By the way, now, you can buy a version with 256 Gb memory for $350.
