TYPICAL MISTAKES MADE WHEN OPENING A VR ARENA. THE ROUTER IS NOT IN THE PROPER LOCATION

TYPICAL MISTAKES MADE WHEN OPENING A VR ARENA

One of the essential factors for a successful virtual reality experience is stable and high-speed internet access. This is because all virtual reality equipment needs to be connected to the internet. Therefore, it is crucial to place the Wi-Fi router at the best possible location.

The Wi-Fi signal from the router needs to reach the area where virtual reality headsets are used without any interference. If the router is placed in a remote area, away from the arena, the gameplay stability may be compromised. As a result, visitors might complain about poor image quality and loading issues. Furthermore, this could lead to dangerous situations where the virtual space no longer aligns with the real world, causing players to collide with each other.

The router's placement is another crucial rule. It should not be positioned behind walls or next to metal or concrete objects because these materials absorb the signal and can cause the virtual environment to become unstable and slow down, which can result in frequent disconnections.

Before beginning the game, it is advised to take a walk around the arena while carrying the helmets switched on to make sure the signal is getting to your devices and evaluate the stability of your internet connection.
